New, totally cool web site for Codekana
I’ve just uploaded the new web site & design for Codekana. If I may say so myself, it’s somewhere in between totally cool and incredibly awesome. I think it also conveys the value and functionality of Codekana much better (there is a ‘Case Studies’ section, as well as a much more elaborate ‘Features’ section).
Next week, assuming I have sufficient inspiration, I’m planning to write & publish a technical-yet-entertaining article about the technology that underlies Codekana. It should be helpful in raising the awareness about the product.
Phew, this new web site has taken so long that I’m totally happy to have it up & running!
Of course, all feedback is very welcome. Let me know what you think.

Excellent! A great improvement.

I would use Codekana if it supported VB.net. Personally, I prefer C#, but I inherited 50,000+ lines legacy code in vb.net and must work with it. Rewriting is not an option. I understand there is less of a market for vb.net (Chris Sells found a similar thing with his Windows Forms book, 1st ed.) but I’m asking for it anyway.
BTW, great job on viemu (I bought a copy a couple of days ago)

Thanks John. Actually, support for other languages apart from C/C++/C# is coming down the line at some point – it’s actually going to be the syntax highlighting support of kodumi, my always-work-in-progress text editor, so it better support multiple languages! It will still take some time though.
Thanks for the kind comment, and for buying ViEmu! I hope you’re enjoying it.

Nice website, it is an improvement for sure. That’s a deep red you got going there. Nice integration with Plimus. I use Plimus as well. You should look into their free subdomains (e.g. codekana.plimus.com). You can also configure your prices to round to a nice figure in other currencies besides USD. For e.g., I see 39.23 CAD as the price. You can configure it to round to nearest dollar.

Thanks for the kind comment and the suggestions Tim. I still have so many things to do that I have to prioritize everything!

Very nice. Design is very clean and simple and at the same time it’s beautiful. Good job!
P.S.: And Store correctly identified my country (Ukraine). Nice touch.

Thanks Max, I’m glad you like it. And for the correct recognition, kudos must go to Plimus, which I’m using for Codekana order processing (and I’m planning to move ViEmu sales over there too as soon as I have a couple of free afternoons, as they’re better service and still cheaper!).
